Christopher, I can’t publish these scores on the internet, so get them when you come to school.

Mr. Parris can you give my username and password for USA test prep

Thanks

Mr. Parris, this is stephanie and i was wondering why we put a 2 on the numder, a example would be if you have to find the area of a parallelogram and the ares was 77m then why would you add the 2 for it to be 77m2 at the top.

Stephanie, when you find area of a polygon you are trying to find how many

square units will cover that polygon, so we put the exponent two with our

unit of measurement. So in the example you gave me the answer will be 77

square meters instead of 77 meters.
